Access the receiver menus and status screens remotely

After fully configuring a Real Freedom system, you can access receiver menus and status screens via a web‑based graphical user interface (GUI) using a computer with an Ethernet port connected to the receiver/RCP network switch.

To remotely access the receiver, follow these steps:

Connect a CAT5 network cable from the computer to a port on the Ethernet switch.
Navigate to computer’s network settings and choose the wired connection.
Enter an ‘available’ IP address and the same subnet mask assigned to the Real Freedom Receiver.
Open a Chrome or Firefox browser window and enter the IP address of the receiver you wish to monitor or control.
If you are viewing more than one Real Freedom Receiver, you must open a tab/window for each receiver and enter the IP address of the receiver you wish to control/monitor.
Use the arrow and Enter keys on your computer’s keyboard to navigate through the receiver menus. This navigation mirrors the control pad on the receiver.
